So my step-dad is buying me a T-mobile G1 for my birthday. So I was wondering if the info on t-mobile.com is actually correct cause I showed him that is was $179.99, I have a t-mobile account. Oh yeah what data plan should I get, I was think of getting the $35 one and also do I have to pay additional with the phone and the data plan or do I wait until my next bill.
 Thanks;]

If you are at a point in your contract where you are eligible for the upgrade price, which is what the $179.99 is, Wal-Mart has it for $98.88.  An easy was to save $80 bucks to spend on stuff like cases and apps.

I could be wrong, but I believe Wal-Mart is selling refurbished phones at that price.

You may be right but I would think they would have to advertise as such.  Not that companies don't use misleading tactics Grin.
