Jeno, the video for the first time it is great and the option to upload it directly to youtube it is awesome, that will make great changes to real estate Smiley for a very good idea of a home Smiley  some videos and upload to youtube and share with prospects / clients, right ?

So far, it's touchy.  no themes yet cause they are all made for rc33 and not magic.  Nice quick menu items makes some things faster. wait a little bit and let them work out the kinks some more.  5.0h is out now. waiting to see how well it's going to go over before i try it.

well love the auto rotatate everything.  majik auto rotates the home screen.  the multitouch browser won't work for this os.  i've had to remove my battery twice for hang ups.  Theme managers are incompatible.  First time you run an app it's slow, then after that it works normally.  I would recommend staying with RC33 until the final release is put out.  i'm rolling back my phone now.   All in all, the majik os is better so once the bugs in the port are worked out you will be very happy with the end product.  Or just wait and see what all cupcake has to offer.

Ok.  Was just made aware that the guys at haykuro and xda got together and fixed most of the bugs and as of this morning April 11th have released 5.0.1h final.  Still minor bugs, and they are waiting for reports so they can fix them, but it's said to be stable.  I'm going over to get it now.  Let you guys know whats going on after i flash.

Magic 5.0.1H Mini update.

1st issue is after you run update you will go thru the setup.  takes about 1 minute.  touchscreen to use screenpad type garbage. hit enter. you will notice that tactical feedback is now enabled.  Also enabled for the lock pad.  open screen to get to next button.  finish and go to home screen.
Follow the instructions on the port page to change from chinese to english.

After backing out of the menu, you will notice that there are a mass amount of new functions you can set.  I set for 2g to save battery , magic also has built in battery saver disabling network feature.
the buttons are larger and easier to touch.
I went into my sound and display settings to change the beep volume, and was instantly prompted to set my ringtone, which i had lost in 4.5.
Magic now automatically syncs with the SD Card and the network at the same time.
You now have Exchange Activesync.
Call Barring is available menu option under call settings.
The camcorder is readily available and has an icon in the apps menu.
The gallery now gives you and option to capture picture or capture video.
Finally DEV tools are pre-installed to allow for much needed process like running process viewer, package browser, and dev settings.
when connected via usb.  htc sync auto connects to pc outlook (which for me was redundant since my pc outlook is connected to my gmail) ** you will need to have HTC Sync installed on your pc **
Pre-installed widgets are in chinese.  (deleted)
The chungwa browser (hami) will have to be reset.  The default text encoding is set to latin-1.  Run hami, click menu>text encoding>unicode 8
Autorotate everything works flawless and is faster then 4.5.
Contacts now downloads your google address book and list all your email addresses.  Worst part is. it also adds the address of your most recent emails as contacts.

Well all for now. Imma try the multitouch browser and see what's gonna crash on me.  More to come later.

Um, not sure if this was a glitch for me or not, but back up your sd card.  It's telling me i have to format mine to be able to use it.

Yes, for any port that you do, you will have to have root.

you can get it from the haykuro forum, with instructions on how to do everything.

Note:  If you've never flashed a phone, or are not 100% confident in what you are doing. Do not flash this port.  This port at this stage is for advanced users.  Stick with RC33.   This is the magic port on the G1.  It is not G1 software.
