I know the battery thing is up a couple threads but I should not have to do all that, I got my g1 3 days ago brand new out the box.. It seems like this battery blows.. i wake up at like 11 am and by 1 pm there is already a little missing from the battery charge... Any suggestions I know I can do that thing where I drain it and charge it again, but I mean for being 3 days old.. is this battery running like it should?

I did just go to wireless connection and uncheck it, thanks jeno for that info.. but is it going to make it that big of a difference? This morning i unplugged it from my charger and text like 2 people and I plugged it back in and it said that it was 94% charged.. DAMN it used like 6% to just send and recieve 2 text messages?

well to let you also know crucial this is not just a phone its a data device so its always online always connected to gmail doing a sync every once in a while. basically a small computer. the battery calibration steps are there to help the meter calibrate the correct reading instead of a false reading. for instance if you ran the batter down to 10 % you may get 3 hours more until it dies. so actually its giving a false reading.

Crucial,
I was experiencing the new OS 1.5 will have better battery life, I was testing it and it works better, but you need to wait if you don't know how to root Smiley
