Can not hear callers unless speaker is on for the g1? what part do I need to buy

Dropped the G1 in my fresh cup of coffee. I can only hear a conversation is I put the speaker on so the part I need is what is used to hear the other person when the speaker is off. Any suggestions on where to find this or what is the name of the actual part? Thanks

I'm sure its going to be expensive to buy and replace. I'd reccomend you to get a bluetooth piece instead.
Check if your phone is water or 'coffee' damiged. take out the battery & look arround it, there should be a white strip, if discolored its dammaged & you can't get it replaced. Also there is a whilte circle where the battery goes in, same applies for that. (In case you didnt know where to look)
Also if you hacked your phone i dont think you can get a new one by warranty.

sorry to hear about ur phone... Dont kno how long it has been but if everything else is working it may just have to dry completely... As Artii already said check to see if the sticker under the battery cover has changed from white to reddish and if it still white depending upon how long you have had ur G1 u can call t-mobile tell them ur issue and they will replace it. just dont tell them it got wet !!

                                                                As far as if you modified ur G1 to root as long as you flash back to none root all is good they will never kno !
