Is it ok to get a case with a magnet that keeps it closed? Will a magnet damage the device or affect it in any way? Probably a stupid question but I would rather be safe than sorry.

try to stay away from the ones with magnets they say it throws the internal compass out of wack but it go back to normal

Hey guys/gals,

TMO corporate stores just started receiving 3 piece clear snap on shells.  They do make the phone a little thicker but actually feels a little more comfy in the hand if that makes sense. I manage a TMO store and got 10 of these in a few days ago and have already sold out of them. They fit very well and the plastic is way tougher than the ones that fit the Blackberry curve for those who have seen those. I own one myself and I can still slide the phone into the original sleeve.
