heres my feed back on the fommy 2300 battery and back cover. well im going on three days with this battery and i have to say im impressed. im a pretty heavy user and i got 49 hours before i had to plug it in. at that point i still had 29% battery life left. and i had wifi on 3g all the time alot of browsing downloading apps alot of the market ton of sms ton off email and alot of talk time. so in my opinion and usage i will suggest this is a great buy. its only 39.95. also the back only has a little hump for the battery doesnt look bad. also that little hump makes the g1 feel a like your not going to drop the phone with the keypad open.

heres the link if your interested: http://fommy.com/accessories.asp?make=T-Mobile&model=T-Mobile+G1&cat=Batteries&subCat=Extended+Batteries

I have a cameraon sino 2200mah battery.  Is good for the phone and all the apps running, but ......... comes with a battery cover thats twice as big as the regular one, so it makes it so i can't use my body glove.  so i have to either take the body glove off and use the extended batt cover, or settle for a 1000mah.

Oh i am so excited, although i will probably have to get the one with the pretty silverish back because my phone is white. No biggie, its worth it if it adds such great time and usage. Thanks for the info!

There is another battery right next to it that costs like 70 bucks.. it look like that one has the same back as the regular g1 and the battery looks small, I could be wrong let me know tho cuz im going to get this one if its not too bulky.

yes it is thicker and yes it is noticable, but if you use it alot and know your not gonna be around a charger for a long time its very good.. and I think there is a battery that fits regularly but it is not as strong as the ones that make the back bigger.

How do you like the 'hump'?

Describe the way the phone 'feels"
