will Anti-Glare help the g1 out? because i heard in one thread that the protection is blocking out the brightness. Is that true?

question for every one ... we have seen alot of vendors selling their product to save the screen from scratches and charging senseless $ for it.  Which one should to choose to save from scratches and also save our own $

I have a full shield on my Zune..thank god I have that thing its saved me many scratches. I want to get a full shield for this too. I had the Zune done ata a local Mall but I think I will order one and do it myself. Now to figure out which one to get..lol
