Its takin some time but I've finally got the texting and driving down with the g1. Don't quite have it down so good that I don't have to look at the keys from time to time, yet.

boo, no txting and driving! it can kill people!

a lot of people have died due to people txting and driving at the same time. txt at red lights if you have too but don't txt.
it's a fact that you are 50% more likely to have an accident while driving. in june in new york 5 girls were killed, in california a 16 year old died after losing control of her car and in arizona there was a case of a driver who crossed the median and killed another driver....

it's tragic, i've known a few people in accidents because of txting and driving Sad

Don't Text and Drive, I have done that and it is really difficult, even if you have experience, please be safe and  just text in emergencies and when you are in a red light or it's better that you pull over and then write a txt message / email

Especially with the G1, theres no way its safe to drive trying to text message with the slide out keyboard and touch screen unlocking.

well, not to start a war but,
if you were a woman you could probebly text and drive after all, we (women) can fix our makeup and help the kids and scream at them and talk on the cellphone (the simple kind ppl use just for talking) speaker of course and text on the amazing G1 and drink our starbucks and all that
while driving .....
and that is why u can not text and drive
but really, just drive, nothing more annoying thn driving a car slowly and miss the green just to see a guy trying to do more thn one thing at a time   Cheesy
and to end this with out any jokes, drive safe Smiley
