If the car stereo will not play some of the songs, try converting your format before giving money to apple.

I also washed my ipod, so I called and complained that the battery was not holding a charge, and was sent a new ipod free of charge.

Did you have to send your old one back?  If not I might have to do that.  I hate how Ipod reorganizes my files after I loaded them though.

They sent me a package with a new ipod, a box, and a (prepaid) shipping label. They stated that if they could prove water damage my credit card would be charged for the replacement, but it was an idle threat. With so many ipods being returned due to bad batteries (part of their business model), I do not think they even check. (In reality they have probably figured out a sample size of ipods that must be checked to ensure a reasonable detection rate).

I'd have to disagree, sir.  As much as I don't like Apple, I think their products are pretty solid (there are always a kink or two in any product).  It's just they're pricey and too strict (not how I like my women....loose and kinky...JUST KIDDING LADIES!!!!).  If I'm paying that much of money for any product, I should be able to do whatever I want with it.

HAHAHA WOW! That was harsh haha...ladies I do not take any part in that comment haha. Well that is exactly right. The products are very expensive and I dont see an mp3 player has to be like 300 dollars when you can find a creAtive one for way cheaper and it does the same thing. I am not bashing anyone with an ipod, or itouch, but it is just ridiculous. I have never owned an actual mp3 player let alone an ipod. I dont walk around listening to music all day anyway Tongue As far as the computers, mac books and such are pretty damn sweet. Maybe cause I like to produce tracks and stuff thats why they're awesome. OH and the macbook AIR is just....well let's just say its not even worth calling it a bad name ahahaha

I've had the zune since the first edition came out and I use it mainly for the radio feature at my job to avoid a bunch of junk on my desk. My ipod gets more use because I use it when I go to the gym because it's way lighter and doesn't get in my way. My ipod is only 8gb so I have all the latest music on it. My zune is bigger and I put alot of old school music on it.
