i'm thinking about getting an ipod touch simply because the compatibility that it has with so much other things. the main thing for me is my music. i have a 16 gb sd card on my g1 so i have all my music on there but when i plug my g1 into my car stereo it will only read like half of my music from the stereo. this is the main reason i would want a ipod instead of having to carry around all my cds.

so do you guys think it's worth getting one or do any of you still use an ipod? any help from you guys would be appreciated.

I still use the 8track.  I had an Ipod awhile ago but I put it in the washer to clean.  For some strange reason, Apple disabled my ipod through radio wave so now I can't use it anymore.  I hate Apple!

If the car stereo will not play some of the songs, try converting your format before giving money to apple.

I also washed my ipod, so I called and complained that the battery was not holding a charge, and was sent a new ipod free of charge.

Satan could not create the ipod, so he created Steve Jobs (and now his deal with Satan is taking his health).

convert to mp3. It is a more popular format for car audio.

You'd have to put the files back on your computer and download a converter program.

Winamp will convert these (free). Itunes will convert to aac (which works in most car stereos).

Did you have to send your old one back?  If not I might have to do that.  I hate how Ipod reorganizes my files after I loaded them though.
