Hi all,  Computer Joe here, I own High Performance Computers in Evanston IL.  I was a T-Moble customer already so I was on the waiting list for the G1 and recieved it three days early...I felt special.  I was already using alot of Goole apps before the phone came out.  For my business I use to use a open sourse program called Request tracker written in pearl as a networkable calander and for tech notes for every computer I worked on.  We switched to google docs and google calander.  We can all see each others calander and tech notes from anywhere we can get on the internet.  Because I was already using google for everything once I logged into my account my phone numbers were already in my contacts and my calander was full.  As I enter contacts and calander entries it syncs directly to my google account for all my employees to see.  and there are multiple ways to add entries to calander.  If I set reminders to text me about calander appointments, I can reply to a text message with customer name address date and time in any order and it will add the entry to my calander.  Also if you text 466453 (thats spells google on a standard phone pad) you can ask any question and it will text you a reply with the answer eg, what was the  Bears game score?  Pretty cool stuff.  We are in the proccess of switching our domain to Google as well.  I know the G1 isn't perfect for some of the more entertaining applications but from a buisiness standpoint, I was happy to make the switch from Blackberry and I know it will only get better.  It is a pleasure to be a part of the G1 forum.
