Well Hello after a long while my G1 friends,  Diablo, and Clover.  Crystal is still on here or not.  Some of you might know me from over at the Behold forum.  I broke down and sold my sk08 so had to choose between a Curve 8900 or a G1.  So decided to see how long it would take to crack up the G1 and completely reload it.  Took about 6 hours, but i have a fully customized rc33 with jesus freak and multitouch, autorotate everything, bla bla bla.  downloaded the SDK so imma see what else this lil puppy can do.

it was WAY easier then when i flashed my Wing.  Android is pretty much reboot and options using JS interface.  Took 2 hours to flash a wing, takes probably 15 min to flash a dream after you have rooted it.  It's a very good experience, and then things like themes and apk installs are alot easier.  home apps i found sucked and i ended up having to uninstall and reload a couple of times.  The root themes actually port over the whole handset instead of cover images.  You might have to reload a couple of times to get your dream to look and feel how you want it, but all in all it will run alot smoother and give you alot more freedom.

well hardware still sux like i been saying since nov.  It hangs, battery sucks even with extended batteries installed.  but after the wing i think i'm overly used to having a keypad with buttons instead of that virtual one.  The trackball is a worthless piece of steaming cow dung, but hey, that's just my opinion. lol . Overall i like being able to do whatever i want to it. and the fact that it way better then iphone is good too.
