Been using my G1 non-stop since it showed up at lunch time today, and everything seems to be working pretty smoothly (I'm loving it, actually)....except that the email client kinda sucks!  I'm assuming there will be a more robust third party solution down the road, so I'm not too upset.  I have set the email polling to 5 minutes and set both IMAP and POP accounts to send notifications to the Notification Pane, but the notifications don't seem to be working.  It did it a couple of times earlier, but I cannot replicate it.  I've sent emails to myself from other accounts (and left them unread on the server), and they did not show up even after 15+ minutes.  Anyone experience and solve this problem yet?

I've used mine for a day and the email for both my corporate account and personal accounts has been pretty decent. I haven't experienced any delays as of yet.

That's with the email client, if you were to count your Gmail account with is seperate you can have a total of 6 account at one time.

You know what? Its not so bad. I have my work account like to another Gmail account I use just for work. It contains about 1200 messages and I've been able to avcvcess them with no problem. It isn't lighting fast but I find it useful. Of course I'm not gonna reject another program that comes down. The line if it is better.
Only thing that would be nice is if you could set up individual alerts for each account to make it easier to determine what you got.
