Need Help, I unlocked my G1 to use in At&T Network.

I just purchased a G1 got a unlocked code, entered my At&T sim, entered the unlocking code. Unlock was succesfull. I go to APN settings click on At&t but all it does is say searching for network it has been doing that for 15 minutes now. I turned the phone off and turned it back on and now it says cannot read sim. Please Help!!!

I've you've had the phone contract for more than 3 months. ATT will give you an unlock code for free. Go to the store and ask.
