these are the settings i used verified and working
POP server: pop3.live.com (Port 995) 
POP SSL required? Yes
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example yourname@hotmail.com
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows Live
SMTP server: smtp.live.com (Port 25 or 587)  (use port 587) for the g1
Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
TLS/SSL required? Yes (choose tls)

that's good to know that msn did the pop 3 accounts as Google did long time ago, now the next one ! !!!!    Yahoo have to do the same thing or they will lose people soon.

I'm using the Haykuro G build and I didn't even have to do anything but put in my user name and password for hotmail and it sets up everything else for me.  Just a thought Smiley

you have to have a plus account for that to happen

actually I don't have a plus account at all.  I didn't pay anything...I think hahaha...but I'm pretty sure I don't have a plus account with Hotmail.

wont work any other way without the steps above my friend unless you have a plus account even if your on a hayakuro build because i have been on them all and now im on adp1.5

yea,   I am on adp 1.5  1.1  and works good, just I am missing some features from Haykuros version.

No, really.  Right now I'm using JF 1.5 and it wouldn't let me input any of that.  It asked for my user name and password and connected straight to the server.  I never paid MS for a plus account.  Ohh...maybe coz I have this account since 1996 or 1997?  I can retrieve mails, compose mails...
