My friends play a game kinda like hide and go seek but using GPS coordinates.
How do I use my g1 to obtain my current GPS coordinates and obtain updates as I move?
I want to play too.

I like Orienteer from Android Market.  It's the best I have to use it all the time.

to find location:

go- Maps>menu>My location.
If it is not accurate
Under the Maps> menu> my location.
That should do it.

I would love to have a program that speaks directions, like " Andnav2"
I guess is not working in the States

SORRY, I guess you wanted the coordinates, that I don't know either..

UPDATE

I tried Orienteer and this app provides a regular compass AND GPS coordinates. Now I am able to play GPS games with my friends. I found the compass do be quite useful as I can never remember which way north is when coming out of the various subway tunnels downtown.
