I use both the iPhone 3G and the G1 but I like the standard G1 ringtones. Is there a way to get them into the iPhone?

uclee1218,
I have not played with that, but I believe that you can extract them from the g1 somehow, I'm not sure about it, I have not played with the internal ones, hm....

yea, hopefully, lets see and wait !, you should ask in the  xda developers, maybe they already extracted the internal ringtones, they will do it eventually if they have not Smiley

This is quite easy. If you do not have OI file manager, download it fro the market. Open up OI then press the house icon in the uppoer left corner. Choose system, then media, followed by audio, then finally ringtones. From here long press the desired ringtone, and the option to copy or move will appear. Copy to your sd card, then transfer to the computer. These are .ogg files, which I am not sure if the iphone recognizes. If not convert to the desired format using something like nero.

cloverdale,
I thought that was harder to do it, thanks for the tip, I don't need them, but since they came with the phone, I thought that you could not extract them very easly from the internal memory or something.
