Howdy, I hope this isn't posted else where, i've search around for a current topic...

But, with this new update R33, did they finally Fix The Aim Problem, and I was told there is now a video with the phone... But I didnt see any new app.

-I do know about Hello Aim, I like it but it signs me off way too much.
-And I know about the new market video and audio add on, which has been a bit buggy for me.
  >>Frankly I want a built in google application that works... you know, like they said they had when I bought the phone.
How close are we to these problems? or do we just get screwed since google is prolly now putting all their brain waves on G2?

aww thats a shame, I got the update a few days ago and the AIM Problem still has not been fixed, nor have i even heard of any attempts to try to fix it.. especially since it only happened to what seems like about half the phones.
-The problem is of course the bug where a friend on AIM messages you and it comes up as your screen name.  So now you don't know who just messaged you nor can you respond back.

please tell me they are at least trying to fix this problem or did they just give up since Hello AIM went on the market.

I haven't used AIM, but I can say that I am not a fan of any of the IM clients in the market as of this moment. Now, I haven't tried any since January so I dont know about the newer ones, but the originals are still the best option imo.
