Have any of you wondered why we can't receive data and voice at the same time?   what I am trying to say is that,   for instance:

if I'm on the internet or receiving emails, chatting, etc and my phone rings,   I answer and the internet gets "cut" you are totally disconnected from the internet,  why?    as soon as you hang up , everything become normal.

I am wondering whether the Iphone can  receive notifications while you are on the phone about  MSN messengers or Google talks , emails notifications, etc.

is that just G1 ? or that's with all the phones?   is that possible to do both at the same time?    what do you think?

you actually can if you are in a strong 3g connection i do it all the time for instance i can be on a call put them on speaker push the home button open the browser and surf while im talking that's the whole purpose of 3g so data and voice don't flow through the same pipes kind of like broadband for cell phones.

Jeno,
So you mean only with 2g you can't and with 3g you can ? I always on 2g, because my phone eats a lot of batt when I am on 3g, so I prefer to be always on 2g , I will test that later on and I will let you know !
