Why G1 Google Android phone is better than Iphone

And so what if the iPhone has been out longer than the G1...
I have only seen one person who has the G1 i my life. It doesn't have nearly as much publicity as the iPhone. I could care less about open source apps because the iPhone gets new apps every day. Thousands of them are also free.

It's not just because the iPhone has been out for a long time that it has so many apps, but it's the fact that it receives so much publicity for being a revolutionary phone.

Now many other phones are trying to copy it, like the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

I wanna see how the G2 compares to it as well.

So what if it has been out longer? Are you stating that even though the Iphone has a large headstart over the G1, the G1 should still have as many apps?

And I have only seen one person with an Iphone, only one. Does that mean anything...absolutely not, and I hardly see what kind of point you were trying to make with it.

You may not like OS apps, but there are a lot of us that do, and in my opinion it is a better platform for developers to create better apps. Oh, and by the way, G1 gets new apps every day as well *GASP*

If you really want to use that argument, I guess we can say that the Iphone is copying every other phone in existence since well...its a phone. That is how businesses make money, they take what is successful, and build upon it where they can.

Now, I am not saying the Iphone is bad, it is a decent phone, but I prefer the G1 over it and nothing you have said has changed my opinion in the slightest. Now, if you want to be surrounded by people that will love to hear your opinion about how much better the Iphone is, let me point you in the right direction

That place is dead. There are three other iPhone forums (that I know of) that have over 600,000 members.

I never thought the G1 was that bulky but everyone always says "MAN IT LOOKS SOOOO UGLY".
It was small, when I saw it in person.

Truthfully, I have never even seen a commercial for the G1 and I still see commercials of the Bold, which has been out for even longer. (The Bold looks pro)

I don't think that really matters anyway. The G1 is a top notch phone. I think the G2 will be better because it has a virtual keyboard, rather than the physical QWERTY-which is not bad, but I'd prefer a full touch screen phone, like the Behold or iPhone.

do you even have a g1. from what i can see you dont. so why all the bashing of the g1 you cant even see what its like if you dont have one and your saying the iphone is better and the bold. do you even have either of these?
so please dont try to put the g1 in its own catagory unless you actually own one and state the truth about it.
