Problem with Maps - can't see Street View for search results?

Hi all,

Recent new G1 owner, just got updated to 1.5 Monday.  I have a question about Google Maps on the phone.  I can't seem to figure out how to do a search for an address then view the Street View for that location.  If I search for an address, find it, then click Menu -> Map Mode -> Street View, it removes the location that I found.  I can then click and find a Street View in the area, but sometimes I don't remember exactly where on the map the location was.  If I am in Street View mode, and click Search, the map changes back to Map mode, instead of Street View mode.

Using Google Maps on the PC, when you find a location you can click "Street View" in the bubble, but that doesn't seem to exist on the Android app.

Any ideas?  Thanks!

well what you need to do on you g1 is to find the address then click menu change to street view then press down on the track ball and it will be very close to the address you searched for
