do you guys know how other electronic devices recognize an ipod? i have a car stereo and if you plug into the usb through ipod it knows its the ipod....but if i plug my g1 in it will only read some of the songs on there.....through stereo my g1 works fine because i am playing it with tunewiki. any help is apperciated

make sure all of your music is in the same folder thats on the sd card

yeah it is. it's something with the stereo...it says in the manual " max number of displayable data is as follows -folders (albums) 128 -files (tracks) per folder:500 and i have about 8 gb of music on there. i wanna try and manipulate it to appear as ipod (if possible) so i can use the usb port. anyone know?

well it sounds like the limitation is the stereo friend and you cant make it act like an ipod
