Help!! itunes music to G1

its not the phone
it prob the settings
check your settings and go to mass storage or sd card settings
and turn on the usb setting
and if you already did that you should get a sd card reader

guys I cant find the option to turn on my usb settings...I go to settings, SD card and phone storage, and I have no option in there to turn on usb?  Any ideas on what I can try?

On your G1?

Click on Settings>SD Card and Phone Storage>Use for USB Storage

I was having the same problem - didn't see the add mass storage device in G1 settings.  What I did was drag the top bar down like you would if you wanted to see notifications on the homescreen.  Once you do you should see an option to mount it as a harddrive so that you can transfer.

I'm not sure if this will help anybody but I heard MediaMonkey is a good way to sink music/movie files with the G1 phone.. I'll be giving it a try once I get mine.
