So out of the box, the G1 doesn't support A2DP.   Hope this new update releases soon.

The Dude,
Some people said that it was hardware problem other people said that OS revision, so I'm not sure about it.

Considering other htc phones could have this feature added with a simple installation of an Application, I don't see it being a hardware issue.

After further research I found that, at this point there is nothing out there. Google has said that the bluetooth api is unfinished and will be finished in a future update. The bluetooth api is not available to the public/developers but once it is I'm sure someone will make an application to support A2DP.

You are right, its stereo bluetooth music.  Google and T-Mobile is launching a software upgrade with which you can use the stereo bluetooth to listen to music.  A2Dp (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) is a Bluetooth profile which let audio streaming over bluetooth

techcrazy,
many people that does not know anything about this, they're bunch of liars, many people just write to write and they don't know what they are writing or talking about,  I remember that I read different blogs and forums where they post that  this problem was hardware issue and that stereo bluetooh will not be supported by a firmware update or software.  so this is good news!!,  but what about the most important thing?

install applications in the micro sd Smiley

True the biggest issue now is that we can't install applications to the memory card.

How stupid that we can only install applications to the phone memory which is very limited to 44megs?  That is way too stupid.

I am sure this will be fixed soon.
