the one that t-mobile sells at its corporate store "the clear snap on case" works very well on the g1 i bought one it protects the g1 and looks great plus it does'nt cover up the send, end, home, back, menu or trackball for better access to them. it works great. oh yeah its only $9.99 plus it has a built in kickstand perfect for watching videos without holding the g1. 1st one is with the kickstand the 2nd one is just the g1 and shell

Jeno,
thanks for the info, Not bad, I believe that buying from Tmo retail store will be a good option, my only concern is, you don't feel bulky the phone with this crystal clear case?  that's my only concern, but besides that, seems a great choice !

Jeno- post a link if you can.  I saw this on youtube but it looked like a knock off or something.

As a note to everybody, When i had my Blackberry Pearl, i purchased a rubberized hard case from Seidio (which is a Name brand company not a knock off of ebay).. It did a great job to protect the phone from damage of being dropped (never dropped the phone though, lol).  But to my dissmay when i took the cover off the phone the "protective" case left scratches on the phone from being installed in the case and rubbing on the edges of where it met the phone and the case.  You could almost see an outline on the phone from where the case was. Especially on the screen.

Thats why im against hard cases, i would hate to see that on the G1.......

and yes I know why not buy an invisilbe shield and then do this, but damn that adds up and its like robbing peter to pay paul.

Jeno, does this case sometimes catch on the keys when opening and closing the slider?  I bought a clear case online and that was one of my main issues with it.  That, and it was difficult to plug the phone in.

Crystal cases are easily available in Hong Kong since all these are made in China.

I took a close look at the Crystal Case and I immediately rejected it because it will make the already bulky phone even more bulky and not to forget heavier.

Get the Invisible Shield.   It is the best thing for any mobile phone.

I can understand.  Honestly I am not good with this stuff, too.  I got it installed from the Invisible Shield Pro Center in Hong Kong.  I remember a young lady installed the G1 for me.   Lol!!!   She took an hour to get it done.

If you can find someone skilled enought to install it, then I highly recommend you going for it.
