Jeno,
just ok, lets say that I left from my home around 9:00 A.M  and I was doing some research with Google (browser) and some phone calls received between 9 A.M and 4:00 PM and my phone almost ran out of batt,   well, it was in the yellow phase, so really ?  it is ok, but not great !, hopefully they will make more batts and cheap, because right now I am not willing to pay $ 50 for something that will last only 33% more, it's not worth it !

hi there (:
i read somewhere that you could calibrate your battery so that it would last longer and be in better shape
how you do that is:
-Use your G1 until it dies
-Keep turning it back on after it dies until i will NOT turn on any longer
-Connect your charger and it let charge for 6 hours

i found that in another forum somewhere, but i dont remember where. i tried it yesterday and it worked out great! tell me how it works out for you!

hi there (:
i read somewhere that you could calibrate your battery so that it would last longer and be in better shape
how you do that is:
-Use your G1 until it dies
-Keep turning it back on after it dies until i will NOT turn on any longer
-Connect your charger and it let charge for 6 hours

When I first got my g1 the battery would not last more than 4 hours with moderate usage even after turning almost everything off. I performed the above steps 4 times in the past week and I am now getting about 18 hours of battery life with moderate usage and I still have auto-sync, gmail sync, calendar sync, and contacts sync turned on and screen timeout is set to 2 minutes. That's more than 400% improvement! I'm going to do this a few more times and see what else I can turn on and still have good battery life.

I know, I know, Li-Ion batteries aren't supposed to need conditioning but this practice actually helps improve battery life.

actually your not getting better battery from the discharges all your doing is calibrating the battery gauge. li-ion battery get better the more times you charge them. this is the way li-ion technology works. they love and perform better the more you charge them then actually draining them.
