The new batteries are in, and I should expect mine by Wednesday.

got my HTC battery Friday, drained and recharged 3 times do far...

Seeing ... maybe a 10% improvement....

I'll keep on using and draining, maybe, I'll get better usage, but... not hoping for much..

Bought a 2300mAh extended battery, I just don't want to curb my usage.... I will 'suffer' with a slightly larger unit... I want to use my G1 and not worry about a dead battery.

When I get my 2300mAh, I'll write about its power...

Well, the 'new' replacement battery from HTC is a wee bit better. I recharged 3 rather than 5 times a day (for my type of use -- fairly heavy).

Got my 2300mAh today, 60% charged. Going to drain, recharge, etc...
    more forthcoming     Grin

I have accomplished 2 full drains (letting the phone turn itself off).
today, with my normal usage, I have 60% charge left after 12 hours.

I like the feel of the 'hump" for texting and just holding it.

I would recommend this battery.

I bought on eBay, from this seller

My new battery arrived, and I have been using it for three days now. I litteraly am able to go 24 hours on one charge (heavy use during the day, and 8 hours of sleeping).  This was so easy, and so rewarding.

I am using the same stock battery, just a brand new one from HTC. I traded for my phone on Craigslist, and it had an awful battery.

I got the new battery and saw a small improvement, so I solved my power problem by getting a AA powered charger from pocketsocketcharger.com it was only 20 bucks and charges my phone for a week straight without having to recharge the AA in the charger. It also charges up my ear piece. It's one of the few accessories that is really a must have, especially since you can charge up walking down the street! I mean like over a dozen full charges!
