g1 android os

I was just wondering. I have droid 1.5 os but i wanted to know if thats as far as the os went on the g1. Or can we update to 2.0?

I believe we can update to 2.2 with flash 10.1 when it's released. Not 2.0 though, reason is 2.2 moves aps to SD card freeing up precious internal memory for the OS.
