I know that I can assign a ringtone to a specific contact.  I also know that I can assign a contact to a specific group.  Can I assign a ringtone to a specific group?  How?

I'd rather not have to go into each and every individual contact to assign a ringtone.

I usually have one tone for family members, another for coworkers, poker buddies, etc.

You can Try Ringo im not sure if it does it or not

I just bought this phone for my 11 years old son. I thought just put SIM card in and that's it (he has T-Mobile). I was wrong so have a couple of questions:

1. If unlock: does this require a internet plan? $25.00 per month just not worth...Per your first page I think will work for AT&T

2. Can't get pass thru the first screen: Create Google account. Is this normal?

3. He like the phone but only use it for text and phone call.

Please advice

Man this is a heck of a phone for a 11yr old (lol)

Sorry I'm to sure about #1 but I know with T-mobile you have to have G1 data plan so I would assume you must some type of data plan with AT&T (don't quote me - hopefully someone else can answer this better)

#2 - Yeah you have to create a google account

#3 - This is an excellent phone for text and phone call but it's so much more than that on this phone.

So new at this, I was able to use the phone with AT&T data plan per your instruction on page 1. New at this so please be patient with me:

1. Can you use window XP/Vista to sync?
2. What kind of SD card it will accept as far as memory size?
3. How do I sync music?
4. This phone I bought doesn't have any CD so what software do I use?

Thanks in advance

you can sync with either XP or Vista.  There is no software, you can download the Dev kit from Android for the up to date USB drivers.  We recommend an 8 or 16 gig sd card.  Sandisk preferably.  As far as the music just drag and drop to the card.   Remember when the phone says usb connected.  open the notification bar and click the usb so you can mount it.
