Just a thought...................

Things are getting a little cluttered and confusing with all the Apps to SD posts and rooting...(i know I'm struggling to find the post how create the link back to my apps loaded on my SD after a wipe..)...........etc.

Is there a possibility we could have the instructions as locked stickies maybe under a sub header? as I know there are different options to mod the Apps to SD depending on your ROM version?

That way the instructions won't get posted on and a newbie doesn't have to trawl through pages and pages of posts.

Without the help of this forum and its members I wouldn't have even attempted to root.
It's a testament to the people on here that when you post with a problem you get an answer pretty damn quick!

to relink after you wipe just put these commands into terminal.
su
cp /sdcard/init.rc /data/
cp /sdcard/a2sd.sh /data/

you will have to reinstall some apps though

Yeah, it seems some programs NEED to be run from the phone, I'm presuming this is the protection attached to them.

I presume the only way to get these to work is to load those from the market first before typing the commands?

It's a bit of a pain as I still my internal memory go down.
Is there no possibility of making these run from SD as well?
If not, I'll have to live with it, the only problem is I have about 10 programs to install after I do a wipe.

i run all my apps from the sd its just that some protected apps have to be reinstalled after the links uninstall them then reinstall them
