You can do them in any order you want.
I did the radio first and then the 1.5

This is from Cloverdale who helped me
Put the new radio on your sd card, and rename it update.zip. Start in recovery mode (home and power), and choose alt S to apply the update. After this is done, put the new 1.5 image on the sd and rename it update.zip. Start in recovery mode and this time do an alt W to wipe. Afterward, choose alt S, and you are done (after it loads).
Since you have a rooted JF build, you will not receive the OTA update.

Got everything to work great! from the beginning setup i noticed changes right away and i have to say im loving it. I did notice i cant seem to get 3G?? did i miss anything, does 3G not work yet with this build? Aside from that when using chomp SMS the phones virtual keyboard comes up making me type the message then having to enter "done" then "send". Is there a way to just use Chomp SMS's keyboard for texting? Another thing i made an Anycut shortcut to Phone Info and i see that the radio band is WCDMA preferred.. is this correct or should i select uknown or GSM? Thanks alot for your support and help.

3G works perfectly fine with this build. Are you getting a good connection in your area? Your still using chomp SMS? - - the built in virtual keypad just lets you type and then hit send I'm not sure about the radio part because when I installed my 1.5 I didn't have to change any settings really. Just put my apps back on and i was good.
