yes, i can see why nobody reply because nobody have a clear answer how to bypass the g1 sign in other then rooting.

yeah, i spend a day research this before i sign up at g1-forum and asked my question. i did found 2 forums/threads dealing with this(
*1**2*) but it didn't work for me.

yeah, there is another way, but it not Google. its Craigslist. i posted an ads on Craigslist asking who ever have t-mobile with data plan can help me out with the g1 sign in and that i would gave them $5 for it...and you know what? it work. i should have started with Craigslist from the beginning. it would have save me a lot of time if i have done that from the beginning.
