HTC Hero ROM

I mentioned this in another thread but I felt I needed to get the word out to others tha may not have seen it or know about it. But the HTC Hero ROM is not stable, I HIGHLY recommend that you do not install it at the moment. Yes it may look nice, but its hella buggy(moves extremely slow and will cause frustration). The reason I'm not just saying this, I was curious about it like many are and installed it, it seemed fine for the first 3 minutes but then it got worse and start slowing down and foreclosing a lot, then when I tried to put cyanogen back I ran into problems, but thanx to my sd card adapter I fixed the prob, so just warning people who may have thought about installing it, please don't, not now at least, cyanogen 3.6.2(which I am running) is the best ROM to run at the moment, hopefully I saved a few people a lot of stress.......

G1, I am pretty new here and I read prior to installing ROMs that Cyanogen creates a great product, which I have installed on my phone. If you want the Hero look, then maybe try the HTC Hero Theme...though I don't know if there'll be any problems with the two.

no they're slightly different(Hero theme/Hero ROM) the hero ROM has more widgets and features than the cyanogen ROM with a Hero theme

HERO has some pretty cool features that I'd like to try out. I hope someone comes out with a dumb down version to work on the g1

the only thing it really has over the G1 is widgets and a few features, nthn big though
