one complaint my girl friend has about the g1 constantly is that it doesnt have a notepad and i agree with her , thats the only thing she misses on the side kick , anyone knows if there is an application being build like notepad or word.

I believe that there is not at this point, but I've read somewhere that you can use the notepad that Yahoo has in their website, you need to go to the right section in yahoo, or Google, I;m not sure about it.

See if you could atleast edit documents you can just transfer a blank word document to your files...

And edit it...

Oh yeah! TooDo is cool. A bit cumbersome to learn. Do yourself a favor and put it in demo mode first. This helped me out tremendously.

Funambol Sync Client will work with Exchange eventually. You can sync contacts now. On the horizon...calendar, tasks and notes. YAY!

Can't speak to that. I transferred my contacts to Gmail two weeks before launch. Tongue Now when they get calendar, tasks and notes sync running, I'll test that.

Pretty bare bones, but does the trick. I like it for quick notes, but TooDo is still my fave for tying notes to tasks.
