All in all it does the job. The G1 has a accelerometer built in..i'm not sure why they could not have launched with optional onscreen keyboard when in vertical mode. I downloaded some cool game trailers from gametrailers.com. Most of them can be downloaded as Mpeg4. Nice!!

Hey all I found this on the T-Mobile forum site about a new video app on monday 10/27.  Thought I would share  :-)   


the file is called Video Gadgetz. Right now the application is about 85% complete, the downloaded version  on this upcoming monday will be a beta version, which is limited to only video recording with the G1 and watching video on the browser. This version will be free to all G1 users. The final version will be release at the end of november that will cost only 5.99 for the application. The difference in the two is that, the final version will allow you to do video streaming such as using your camera to send continuous video from phone to phone through our website.  Aside from the video streaming, the other features will include customizable tools for settings, syncing, etc.. As for Google and their policy on third party app, this beta version have been approved for testing purpose of the Android platform. Stay tune for my later posts.
