Still concerned about typing on Android touchscreen? TouchPal will bring you a completely different experience! It is a finger friendly virtual keyboard that supports mistyping correction, mixed language input, finger gestures and a lot more unique features. With TouchPal, you can easily type more than 40 words per minute on Android touchscreen.

Mistyping Correction
The biggest issue for on-screen keyboard is typing on wrong keys. TouchPal has a superior mistyping correction algorithm and can predict the right word in 98% cases. It uses a patent-pending technology from CooTek to analyze the location of the keys, detect the context that user has typed, and suggest the most likely candidates in a list.

Smart Prediction
After inputting “look”, TouchPal can predict “forward to” as the next word/phrase. You can also type “im” for “I’m”, and “dont” for “don’t”.

Quick Symbols/Uppercases
Inputting symbols and uppercase letters on TouchPal takes only 1 second. You can slide DOWN on a key to get a SYBMOL, or slide UP on a key to get an UPPERCASE. You can also input emoticons, email addresses or web URL quickly.

Mixed Language Input
TouchPal supports more than 20 languages, and can automatically detect the language you are typing with its patent-pending technology. For example, you don’t have to switch language if you want to type an English word in a German sentence.

Finger Gesture & Cool Animation Effect
TouchPal supports 3 different layout (Full-QWERTY, T+ Half QWERTY and Phone KeyPad). You can slide on the keyboard to dynamically switch to another layout in animation.

This looks really exciting!  The subject line is "TouchPal Soft Keyboard for Android will Release!"......But I just looked for it and it's not showing as available.  When will it be in the Market so we can try it out?

CooTek,

The app looks awesome! The more I look at it the more excited I am about it. Can you tell us how much it will cost? And so we know, will updates to the package be included free to anyone who buys the app, or will there be a nominal charge for updates as they come out?

Thanks!

We will release it on Android Market next week.It will be free for the first few months. The final price hasn’t been decided, but if you download it during the free period, you won’t have to worry about the price. 

Only thing i don't like is on screen keyboards take up space on the screen. That's why i like the slide keyboard.  thats the down fall to the new android phones.  After having the Wing, the Behold, and the G1. I will automatically default to slide keyboards over softkeys now.  But this apps looks like a good product to help out for touchscreens that don't have sliders.
