a super easy app for tethering with or with out root

PdaNet does NOT require root access or hacking your phone's firmware in order to work. It is just a regular Android application that works on all Android phones as-is. Currently this initial version supports USB tethering on the T-Mobile G1 phone. Tethering is secure and will also charge your phone at the same time. Your phone can either connect to GPRS EDGE 3G data or WiFi.

This seems to be a dial-up connection, or how can it be configured to use 3g or wifi, can't find that option there, but seems like a good app

I had this for awhile and then it stopped working. It also dropped the connection a lot and the connection was pretty slow.

thats because this is really not the correct way to tether the best way to tether your g1 is first to gain root access then use one of the top notch tether apps
