Dear G1-Forum.com Members,

We have added a new option in www.G1-Forum.com      In the profile section, you can now select  your RC Build Number and it will be announced below your Nickname, it will be mandatory for all new members, why? 

We want to help them better specially to the "G1 newbies"

It is very easy to do it in case that you don't know how to see your Build Number in your G1 phone, just follow these steps

1) Press "Menu"
2) Select "Settings"
3) Scroll down until you hit "About Phone"
4) Select "About Phone"
5) Scroll down until you hit "Build Number"
6) Write in your profile your RC #

For instance, I have
Build Number
kila-user 1.1 PLAT-RC33 126986
ETC, etc, etc, etc,       

RC33 is my   Build Number that's what we need that you update in your Profile.

in the G1-forum.com    Select the Option    "My Profile"   and please add your Build number there.

We really appreciate that, so we can help you better in the near future, keep updating your Build number when you receive new OTAs    have fun and please and don't forget to update your Profile with your Build Number.

RC33?  Are we really up to that?  Was there a 31 and 32?  When did 33 roll out and is this with one with voice search and the updated Google Maps?  Guess I should go catch up on the forum.

Nope, there was not 31 and 32, they jumped to 33, because I believe that they did many internal fixes that you will not notice, so it works much better now, more stable, a little bit faster when sending emails through gmail and  better now when you chat with google talk client, so overall is better, a little additions, but not many, you can read through the forum in the general section the improvements.

Evil is simply a term to differentiate from another group who's actions or beliefs are different or frightening.  Such a term becomes obsolete the moment you join us.
