The battery for G1, its around 40.00 and it increases the life of the battery as well as not having to recharge as much. My battery is fine but I am getting the battery and testing it to see if there is extended life with it.

the one from seidioonline .com is a 1400mah the exact same size as the one in the g1 but more battery life the one tmobile is supposedly sending out is a 1400mah but thicker do you understand what i mean gt1-man

me neither i wont use the one from tmobile if they actually do send it out i rather pay the $42 and have it be slim size just like the original. its a matter of preference my man.

Sorry to interrupt here in this thread,   I believe that this is an old thread, because I noticed december 5th, but are you guys crazy? to pay $42.95 just for 15% more and just because it fits in our g1 without any other extra cover case?  I would not definitily, I will wait until something better and cheaper release with more power!,  I don't see any worth it for 15% I can stick with this "crap" for a while LOL, but oh well, maybe some you have money to spend, hope that at least includes the shipping & handling for that crazy price !

I understand that we need more power and for many of us we really need at least 15%, but I prefer to charge my phone @ car or a office or @ home two times a day whether I will make a lot of stuff in the phone,  maybe 3 LOL    Just My 2 cents !

actually rayo the one from seidio is 33% more battery life not 15% and from past experience in my other phones 33% equates to 2 to 4 hours more time at least in all the other phones i have had all of them hade the slim seidio slim battery so i personally will stick with what i know works. that my opinion and preference no one has to agree with me. also you have to be careful which battery's you put in you're phone most a very cheaply made Chinese battery which i don't trust.
